This robot sends data to cloud servers in the United States. For EU residents, this means personal data is transferred outside the EU. While some companies use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other legal mechanisms to comply with GDPR for transatlantic transfers, the data is not under direct EU jurisdiction. How to keep it private
Apple Home Key unlock via UWB/NFC works without internet. Bluetooth proximity unlock works locally. PIN code entry works offline. Remote access and cloud-based features like activity log syncing and remote lock/unlock require Wi-Fi and Schlage cloud service.

The ANSI Grade 1 rating means this is also the most physically secure consumer smart lock available.
