Aurora Driver (Volvo VNL)

The Aurora Driver on the Volvo VNL is an L4 autonomous trucking system for long-haul highway freight. Using Aurora's proprietary FirstLight LiDAR with cameras and radar, it operates commercial freight routes in Texas. Aurora launched its commercial driverless trucking service in April 2024, moving loads for FedEx, Uber Freight, and other partners.
